How to improve your cashflow control

BUSINESSES are being offered the chance to stay one step ahead and take control of their cashflow by attending a free workshop on financial forecasting.

Business advisers and accountants, Clive Owen & Co LLP, are holding the breakfast workshop at the company’s offices in Coniscliffe Road, Darlington, on February 29.

The event will look at how a bespoke forecasting system can benefit businesses and give more control regarding cashflow and the ability to plan ahead.

John Davison, associate director with Clive Owen & Co LLP, said: “We are seeing evidence that the banks are keeping a much closer eye on businesses due to the current economic climate.

“With the start of another year upon us and maybe even more financial uncertainty in the coming 12 months, it’s easy for businesses to operate day-to-day and not focus on the longer term.

“In fact, given the current climate, the opposite approach puts businesses in a stronger position to be able to deal with economic instability.”

The workshop will be held on Wednesday February 29, at Clive Owen & Co’s offices in Coniscliffe Road, Darlington, at 8am
