‘A positive Budget for business’

RESPONDING to today’s Budget announcement by Chancellor George Osborne, Alan Moore, a tax partner at Clive Owen & Co LLP, said:

“This has been a very positive Budget for business.  The move to help small firms by cutting National Insurance bills by £2,000 via the Employment Allowance is a good step. We expect to see more businesses consider taking on additional staff which have previously been put off by the cost of employing them.

“The reduction of the Corporation Tax by 1p to 20p along with a flat rate for all will make a huge administrative difference to big businesses which have multiple subsidiaries. It will also make financial planning easier for firms.”

“Lindsay personifies creativity. No matter what message you're trying to get across, she comes up with a story that's novel and that works. Lindsay is also generous with her time and ideas, and is genuinely a lovely person to work with. She has helped me with story development, writing press releases and managing press release distribution - and her success rate with having articles published speaks for itself. Highly recommended"
